ABOUT

Both Jane and Jerry Grant are native Ashevillians! Jerry was CEO of Beverly-Grant, Inc., one of the partners building Legacy. They have 3 children, each living in beautiful places to visit – MT, CO, and CA.

HOBBIES

Jerry is a car lover – especially his Tesla. He also enjoys reading and playing bridge and gin. When he finds the time he likes having a fishing pole or a golf club in his hands. Jane is a knitter and a pickleball player. Interacting with their 6 grandchildren, spanning ages from pre-schoolers to teens, brings special joy.

SURPRISED TO KNOW

Jerry and Jane are pros at moving and have lived in several different units in the Asheville area development where they currently live.

WHY LEGACY?

Jerry and Jane say Legacy will be the nicest place anywhere to live. They recognize that their new home investment will no doubt appreciate rapidly and add to their estate for their children, while providing an insurance policy for their physical care in the years ahead.

FUTURE AT LEGACY

The Grants are looking forward to enjoying Legacy’s great location and interacting with the caring staff.

Janet & Ann

Janet & Ann met in a yoga class over a decade ago and were married on the day the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Obergefell v. Hodges case.

Barbara and Paul

While Barbara and Paul have enjoyed living in downtown Charleston, SC, they will not miss the growing threat of hurricanes, tidal flooding and the various impacts of climate change when they move to Legacy.
