Who is Beverly-Grant?

With over forty employees and countless subcontractors, Beverly-Grant, Inc. delivers high-quality construction services and has evolved into the premier general contractor in Western North Carolina.  Their portfolio spans a wide range of work, from medical and industrial to specialty commercial projects, and over eighty-five percent of their annual volume is from repeat clients.

Recent Project Work – The Restoration Hotel

Beverly-Grant was selected as construction manager to transform the former Bank of Asheville/Bank of America building located in downtown Asheville into a boutique hotel, called The Restoration on Patton.  This infill project required complex construction and engineering choices, and experienced unique challenges given its location adjacent to Pritchard Park in the heart of downtown.  This project is especially memorable for the Beverly-Grant team as COVID hit soon after project award, slowing the project down significantly with industry wide pandemic problems.  However, Beverly-Grant accepted and adapted to the challenge.  Exceeding the client’s vision and creating an intimate and trendy 60-bed hotel,  the result was a free-spirited inspired culture of the local community.

Recent Project Work – Biltmore Forest Country Club

Founded in 1922, Biltmore Forest Country Club is situated on 135 acres in the Town of Biltmore Forest, North Carolina, which is a planned residential community with a rich cultural history dating back to the Vanderbilt family of Biltmore Estate.  The club boasts a Donald Ross golf course and a historic clubhouse facility.  Beverly-Grant was selected to replace the club’s fitness center, tennis facilities, and pool creating a generational destination for all members.  The project required Beverly-Grant to undertake the difficult task of transforming a historic and treasured component of the club experience located right at its front door.  The finished product and amenities surpassed the members’ expectations, propelling the club into the 21st century with its cutting-edge, versatile indoor-outdoor facility.  Members now enjoy a tennis facility with four outdoor Har-Tru courts and one hard tennis court. The pool facility features a 25-yard pool with a lap area for wellness enthusiasts with zero entry, slide, and other features for kids.  The Grill, including an outdoor bar, now offers many options for poolside dining and a bar experience.
