ABOUT

Geri and Michael could be considered New Yorkers, having both been born in Brooklyn and living many years on Long Island, including Southampton. But they’ve become Southerners, having lived in Naples, FL, Reynolds Plantation, GA and are currently residing in Champion Hills, Hendersonville, NC. Their next address will be joining everyone at Legacy.

The Cliffords have been married for 59 years. Michael was a civil trial attorney and Geri managed the office and staff.

HOBBIES

Geri loves to cook and garden. Michael likes to watch sports, read and play card games. They are both music lovers, especially country. Golf, bocce, walking and taking scenic drives are activities they enjoy together.

SURPRISED TO KNOW

The Cliffords enjoy dancing – especially to live music.

WHY LEGACY?

The integrity of the Legacy sales team and founders impressed the Cliffords. Knowing that health care will be available for potential future needs was another attractive aspect for choosing Legacy.

FUTURE AT LEGACY

Geri and Michael like the diversity of the Legacy residents and are looking forward to making many new friends. In addition, Michael’s interest in learning to play Canasta will surely be fulfilled by some knowledgeable neighbors.

Janet & Ann

Janet & Ann met in a yoga class over a decade ago and were married on the day the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the Obergefell v. Hodges case.

Barbara and Paul

While Barbara and Paul have enjoyed living in downtown Charleston, SC, they will not miss the growing threat of hurricanes, tidal flooding and the various impacts of climate change when they move to Legacy.
