DIRECTOR OF SALES & MARKETING
Elizabeth’s marketing career spans 25 years and multiple industries including telecommunications, internet technology, nonprofit and travel & tourism. She has been leading all sales and marketing efforts at Legacy for 4 years, implementing transformative marketing strategies to reach customers and communicate Legacy’s unique model; exceeding industry standards for new leads, engagement and ultimately reservations. Prior to joining Legacy, she spent nearly fifteen years at Biltmore Estate where she made significant contributions to the company’s growth in both business development and marketing roles. After a personal journey assisting her in-laws move into a CCRC, Elizabeth shifted her career focus into Senior Living. As the Director of Sales and Marketing at Legacy, she combines her marketing expertise and personal experience with her love for Western North Carolina to help families navigate this important life decision. Elizabeth graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and received her MBA from Regis University in Denver, CO. She and her husband Dan are raising their 3 sons in her childhood hometown of Asheville, NC and enjoy all the outdoor adventures this mountain community offers.
Lisa, originally from New York City, has worked in the Senior Living Industry in Florida over 25 years, where she held managerial marketing, sales and business development roles at HCR/Manor Care, Marriott Senior Living Services, The Sage Company and St. Mark Village Continuing Care Retirement Community. In addition, Lisa expanded her horizons when she took on the role of Regional and Divisional Marketing Manager at The Little Clinic, a national operator of Nurse Practitioner-based medical practices located inside Publix and Kroger supermarkets. In this role, she was responsible for grass roots marketing, business development, customer service initiatives and training for Nurse Practitioners.
Lisa takes great pride in being able to walk families through the process of change by helping them discover a second retirement. She can’t really call this a job because it is her passion, and she believes she is exactly where she is supposed to be. After all these years its exciting for her to be a part of a community that shares the philosophy she has dreamed of for senior living communities. She is thankful to be given the opportunity to be a part of the next generation of retirement living.
In addition to starting this exciting next chapter of her career at Legacy at Mills River, Lisa and her husband Rick are thrilled to be enjoying the mountains of Western North Carolina while living close to family.
